With Google MapsTM technology it's easy for your to let your friends and family know where you are. No need to understand GPS, they'll use the same familiar technology they use everyday for driving direction and maps. You can even save and view messages with Google Earth or other GPS data formats.

What you can do with SPOT
SPOT's intuitive design allows you to communicate if four simple ways:

Alert 9-1-1: Notify both public and private emergency responders of your GPS location. SPOT sends one message every 5 minutes until power is depleted or 911 is cancelled

Check in: Let contacts know where you are and that you're okay. SPOT sends three identical messages to the SPOT service for redundancy. The first of those three messages is delivered.

Help: Request help from friends and family and notify them of your exact location. SPOT sends one message every 5 minutes for one hour or until Help is cancelled.

Track: Send and save your location and allow contacts to track your proess using Google MapsTM. SPOT sends one message every 10 minutes for 24hrs or until SPOT is powered off.
